Get involved
There’s a place for you here.
AMTA Oregon is volunteer-powered. Whether you have an hour, an idea, or a desire to lead, your experience can help strengthen the profession across our state.

Strong chapters are built by members who care enough to participate.

Why participate?
Your perspective belongs in the room.
Massage therapy is practiced in many settings and communities. When more members participate, chapter decisions are better informed by the real experiences of Oregon LMTs.
Build meaningful connections
Meet colleagues beyond your immediate practice and learn from their experience.
Shape chapter priorities
Help direct education, advocacy, communication, and member support.
Grow through service
Develop leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills while contributing to your profession.
How it works
Start small. Stay connected. Grow from there.
Not every contribution needs to become a major commitment. A conversation is often the best first step.
Tell us what interests you
Share the topics, skills, regions, or time commitments that feel realistic.
Meet the right people
We’ll connect you with a board member or committee chair who can explain current needs.
Choose a clear next step
Try a project, attend a meeting, or explore a defined role before making a longer commitment.
Board & committees
Volunteer leadership keeps the chapter moving.
Our board sets priorities, manages chapter resources, and works with committee chairs and delegates to support Oregon massage therapists. Committee seats and leadership positions open regularly.
You don’t have to know exactly where you fit.
Tell us what matters to you, what you enjoy doing, and how much time you can realistically offer. We’ll help identify a useful next step.
