How we operate

A volunteer board with defined responsibilities.

The Board of Directors sets priorities, oversees finances, supports chapter programs, and works within AMTA’s national structure and chapter requirements.

Leadership

Board oversight

The board makes chapter decisions, assigns responsibilities, and evaluates progress on approved priorities.

Stewardship

Responsible budgeting

Chapter funds support education, advocacy, member communication, leadership development, and required operations.

Participation

Public chapter meetings

AMTA Oregon holds an annual public board meeting and creates opportunities for members to engage with chapter leadership.

Chapter records

Policies and documents should be easy to find.

This page will serve as the home for current governance documents, public-meeting information, chapter policies, and other records approved for member access.

Documents will be added as they are reviewed and prepared for publication. Questions about chapter governance may be directed to the Board.
