How we operate

The Board of Directors sets priorities, oversees finances, supports chapter programs, and works within AMTA’s national structure and chapter requirements.
Board oversight
The board makes chapter decisions, assigns responsibilities, and evaluates progress on approved priorities.
Responsible budgeting
Chapter funds support education, advocacy, member communication, leadership development, and required operations.
Public chapter meetings
AMTA Oregon holds an annual public board meeting and creates opportunities for members to engage with chapter leadership.
Chapter records
Policies and documents should be easy to find.
